The Order of Mark Magicians is a fraternal rite founded upon the principles of Thelema, whose members study and experiment together in the spirit of Scientific Illuminism, seeking a deeper understanding of the True Will, of the Magical Art, and of the mark proper to each.

The Order keeps no fixed curriculum and claims no authority to instruct. Its members meet as fellow students, each bringing what they have read and what they have tried, that the whole company may examine it together. Texts are studied in common, experiments undertaken and their results compared, and every finding is held open to question. In this way the Order seeks to be not a school but a fraternity of seekers, where each may learn as much from their companions as from the books before them.

We are not governed by any single Chief. Its direction rests with a collective, who act together under the name of Hiram II□, so that no one hand holds the rule of the Order and its affairs are ordered by common counsel.

Therefore the greatest understanding lies in the signature, wherein man (viz. the image of the greatest virtue) may not only learn to know himself, but therein also he may learn to know the essence of all essences.
